PRIVACY POLICY

1. OVERVIEW
DotX Widgets ("the app") is an Android home screen widgets app built by an independent developer. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used. DotX Widgets is free to use and does not currently display ads or offer in app purchases.
2. DATA WE COLLECT
The app uses Firebase services for core functionality and product improvement, specifically Firebase Analytics (aggregate, anonymized usage statistics), Firebase Crashlytics (crash and diagnostic reports to fix bugs), Firebase Firestore (to sync some app settings) and Firebase Remote Config (to safely roll out features). None of these services are used to collect your name, contacts, messages or photos, and widget content you configure (notes, photos, names) stays on your device unless a specific widget explicitly requires syncing.
3. PERMISSIONS
Some widgets request device permissions (such as location for weather widgets, or media access for photo widgets) strictly to provide that widget's function. You can revoke any permission at any time from Android system settings, though the related widget may stop working correctly.
4. THIRD PARTY SERVICES
The app relies on Google Firebase for the services listed in section 2. No advertising SDK is included. Firebase's own privacy practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
DotX Widgets is not directed at children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
6. YOUR CHOICES
You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection. For any request regarding your data, including deletion, contact us using the details on the Contact page.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
